Last month i went to spend vacations in hotel in Rome and that was the second time trip in Rome. Last time when i spend vacations in hotel in Rome and i could not manage to visit vatican museums in Rome because i was keen to visit Vatican museums in Rome because they are among the greatest museums in the world. While i was enjoying in hotel in Rome, i find that Rome itself is the largest open-air museum in Europe. This is a wonderful city which is known for its ancient ruins, stunning architecture and the city also provides wide choice of museums and art gallaries. Besides all this Vatican museums in Rome also a must see museums in Rome, because they have superb collections and fabulous masterpieces. Enjoy Vatican Museums in Rome

After eating breakfast in my hotels Rome, i went to visit Vatican museums in Rome and i visited their fabulous masterpieces in palaces those built for Renaissance popes such as Julius II, Innocent II and Sixtus IV. In Vatican museums in Rome, i also saw the world's most important art collections which includes the Sistine Chapel, Raphael Rooms and Etruscan Museum.

The Sistine Chapel is the main chapel in the Vatican Palace and this wall is also covered with frescoes of some finest artists of the 15th and 16th centuries. Here i also visited wonderful 12 paintings one the side walls by the famous artists. The Sistine Chapel is decorated by the Michelangelo and completed between 1534 and 1541. Raphael Rooms is also one of the beautiful collection of Vatican museums in Rome. It is decorated Pope Julius II's apartments which were built by the begining of the 16th century and are part of the Vatican Museums in Rome.

Here i also visited the Egyptian Museum which is also a part of Vatican Museums in Rome and it consists of steleae and incriptions from various ages, sarcophagi and mummies. Then i visited the Chiaramonti Museum in Rome which is also one of the Vatican Museums in Rome, it was founded by the Pope Pius VII and it includes the Corridoio (Corridor), the Galleria Lapidaria and the Braccio Nuovo (New Side). The corridor of this Vatican Museums in Rome divided into 60 sections and here i also saw the infinite series of statues, busts, sarcofhagi, reliefs etc.

Then i visited the Antiquarium Romanum which is also one of the Vatican Museums in Rome and this museum in Rome has divided into three rooms and houses ancient Roman objects and works of the minor arts. Christian Museum, one of the Vatican Museums in Rome was founded by Pium IX in 1854. In 1963 the Museo Pio Cristiano was transferred to the Vatican. In the end i visited the Gregorian Museum of Etruscan Art which is also one of the Vatican Museums in Rome and in 1837 the works coming from the excavations carried out in sourthern Etruria, it was founded by Gregory XIV and later it became one of the most important for Etruscan art.
